2025 POND Summer Conference - Mountain Bike Ride and Networking

What: Summer Water Congress POND Mountain Biking and Networking Activity

When: Wednesday, August 20, 2025

Leave at approximately 1:30 pm and return by 5:00 pm.

Where: Emerald Mountain Trails

Transportation: We will be meeting at the entrance to the Steamboat Grand Hotel and driving or riding to the trailhead (approximately 3 miles, 12 minutes driving)

General Information: We will be riding trails at the Emerald Mountain trail system. The exact trails will be determined after the number and skill level of registrants are determined and we may end up breaking into two or more groups.

Additional Notes:

Please come prepared! All riders are REQUIRED to have a helmet, adequate water (3 liters is recommended), and supplies to fix a flat tire.
NOTE – It will likely be hot so be sure to bring as much water as you think you will need.
Snacks, sunscreen, rain jacket, gloves, and sunglasses are all HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
If you would like to skip riding to and from the trailhead, that is totally fine! Please coordinate with Jonah Howe and we can determine carpools if possible.
Remember - this is a networking event and NOT A Race. Nab those Strava segments on your own time 😊
