What: Summer Water Congress POND Hiking and Networking Activity

When: Wednesday, August 20, 2025

Leave at approximately 1:30 pm and return by 3:00 pm.

Where: Steamboat Mountain

Transportation: We will meet in the lobby of the Steamboat Grand Hotel at 1:30 pm and walk to the trailhead

General Information: We will be doing the Thunderhead, Mountain View Zig Zag Loop. This hiking trail is accessible from the Steamboat Grand Hotel and will take us around the ski resort. Whileit is a 3.6 mile long hike, we will decide how far we will want to go based on timing. While on the hike we will be joined by somebody who will present on the Resorts snowmaking and water infrastructure. Please join us for a fun and informative hike.

Additional Notes:

• Please come prepared! All hikers are REQUIRED to have adequate water and shoes that they are comfortable hiking/running in.
• NOTE – It will likely be hot so be sure to bring as much water as you think you will need.
• Snacks, sunscreen, rain jacket, gloves, and sunglasses are all HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
